About
Born in the ever-rainy city of Vancouver, BC, Jenna Brienza has always been ‘that weird art kid’. With a penchant to talk the ears off of anyone willing to listen to her about various "nerdy" interests, it was no surprise to anyone that she went on to study animation promptly after graduating high school. At Capilano University, she earned two diplomas, completing both Digital and 2D Animation + Visual Development programs.
Jenna now shares her love of art and comics by teaching art to children and teens. She has been doing so for a number of years and prides herself in creating a fun, engaging and safe space for youth to express their creativity. Aside from teaching, Jenna also works on comics, zines and illustrations.
She now lives in Nanaimo, BC, which is slightly less rainy, with her partner and her pet leopard gecko, Dia. When not working on art, she can be found playing Dungeons & Dragons and pretending to be Gandalf in the woods.
